SEARCHING BALANCE BETWEEN BEING AND DOING TO FIND HAPPINESS

We are all looking for a certain balance in life. Managing time to follow our dreams, personnel challenges, family time, work and all other aspects of life.

But we can say that in general we are all looking for a joyful & healthy life.

Everyone perceives their life through their own glasses and yet one thing is found in the majority of us.

Difficulty letting go and living the present moment.

Why is it so complicated to be, simply? There is no right answer. Everyone can hear their own truth within themselves.

Living in our time certainly doesn't help. We live at 100 miles per hour with lots of external and virtual informations and a search for accomplishment in all areas. Productivity is our new scale of value and we always need more of it.

But you know what? It's fine. We all do our best, a day at the time and no one is nailing it 😉

So, how can we find balance between being and doing?

Let's start with a simple daily gesture ! Don't worry, let go of your fears and start with a small step everyday. There is no special ability needed for this practice. Your are enough.

To find this balance the famous author Eckart Tolle shares with us in his book the "solution".

To start being and find balance you have to pay full attention and be present in the doing.

So there is no need to come to the end of what you are doing to start to be and observe !!

It is giving full attention to every action and decision that will bring us back to being.

So, for Eckart, every action is an opportunity to be present, to take time and to listen to ourselves.

Perfect !

Let's start small ; choose an action from this list to do consciously today 💘

  • Take a shower

  • Brush your teeth

  • Walk 5 minutes outside

  • Do a task for work in full presence

  • Drink a glass of water (or something else)

  • Eat your meal with no distractions

  • ... (the list goes on)

You now have one more way to enjoy each day and find joy in simple things.

I hope you will feel the benefits of this practice as i do 🌞

Thank you for reading, Charlotte 🌸
