At Anjali Mudra, we believe that durability is not a luxury trend, it is the future and the new normal. We refuse to compromise on quality, so when you choose Anjali Mudra, know that you are investing in sportswear that is made out of 78% of regenerated frabric. Anjali Mudra quality also means that when you no longer wear your pieces, you can donate, trade or recycle them to give them a new life.
Our goal is to promote conscious buying, encouraging customers to care about where their products come from, who made them and in wich conditions and invest in quality pieces they can wear more often and for longer. When you buy better, not more, you are saying NO to the fast fashion industry and taking a positive step towards sustainability in fashion.
At Anjali Mudra we are not claiming to be perfect. We are in a big journey : improvement and continuous questioning of our practices in order to follow our ideal.

SOCIAL
We work with companies that offer to their workers a defined, secure and favor permanent contracts. By choosing those companies we hope to contribute to job security and respect for the person and her family.
This prevents the precariousness associated with the uncertainty of temporary or short-term contracts.
By working exclusively with European companies, we ensure compliance with social standards and guarantee comfortable, safe working conditions.

The word "collaboration" is important to us.
We strive to meet each individual we work with in a genuine and lasting way. This means that we take a close interest in the business, history and goals of our collaborators. Whenever possible, we travel to meet them.
Behind every garment and every step in the creation of Anjali Mudra, there is collaboration, skills, encounters and constant learning from each other.
ENVIRONMENTAL
From our outfits to our packaging, every detail has been designed to minimize environmental impact promoting reuse or recycling.
Our activewears are made from 78% regenerated fabric derived from industrial waste or from drifting fishing nets. Our pouches are made from 100% recycled fabrics and our cardboard boxes are made from 90% recycled cardboard.
We don't claim to be perfect, but every day we take another step towards our goal. Zero waste.

OUR EVERYDAY STEPS
We know that sustainability starts with our own habits as individuals and as a brand. That's why we remove all single-use plastics from our business and our product packaging is all compostable. This also applies when we receive our parts from our workshop, they are sent without plastic packaging in reused boxes.
We partner with manufacturing facilities that are actively working to improve the environmental performance of their operations. This includes measures to reduce adverse environmental impacts and to improve material and resource efficiency, reduce waste and water use such as during the print of our floral fabric. In order to reduce water consumption which can be quite high when it comes to dyeing or printing our floral patterns on a fabric, we have chosen "sublimation" which is a process which not only allows a quality print but also consumes less of water than traditional printing.
Our creative process began with the choice of our fabric. The most important element for us. Even before designing our clothes, it is around the fabric and its properties that our collections come to life. We work with ECONYL® yarn because this yarn gives our fabric the perfect combination of all the qualities that we believe are essential when it comes to sportswear; elastic, resistant, soft, confortable.
Of course, we have not left OUR PACKAGING aside and have chosen to work with 100% European, recycled, recyclable and biodegradable products.
